Dalish - Natural, gluten-free makeup that keeps our skin glowing
The other day I woke up with sniffles and a sore throat. I got dressed for work and when I put my coat on I realized that I wasn't wearing my scarf for fashion anymore, I was wearing it because it was friggin freezing outside. I don't know about you but my personal makeup look changes with the weather. I can't sport a light peach lip with a serious face when I'm also shivering my calves off in pantyhose and heeled booties. That would just be ridiculous.
And so enters the winter makeup routine. A little glow goes a long way with this look that highlights the cheekbones and adds some freshness to our sun-deprived faces.
Makeup: Tracy Kyncl
Model: Kimberly Aripes
This look was achieved using Dalish Cosmetics, our favorite natural makeup brand that's gluten-free and allergy-friendly. Tracy used a bright pink lipstick as blush on the cheekbones, then applied some of the liquid highlighter over top to add a light sheen. We loved this technique because it kept Kimberly's skin dewy and smooth without looking heavy. Since her skin is naturally flawless (to be young again) Tracy skipped the foundation and concealer. For her eyes Tracy used some of the lip and cheek balm in bronze and shimmery pink. She added a subtle liner by applying the metallic liquid shadow with a small angle brush, winging it out at the edges. To finish it off she used a single coat of mascara and a few individual falsies to fill out her lash line.
This is a fantastic 5-minute face routine for everyday; work, school, or just hanging out. This look can take you anywhere so give it a try!
