Managing Food Allergies at the Office, Workplace, or Corporate Environment
As an adult living with life threatening food allergies, navigating the office was sometimes a challenge for me.
The office is where many of us spend all day, 5 days a week. It is where we form friendships, eat meals, and earn a living. So why do we never talk about it in regards to food allergy management? It comes with its own set of considerations and challenges, as well as successes.
In this video I share how I communicated and handled my food allergies at the office throughout my career, and how I built confidence as I grew more experienced.

Because the way that one handles this can vary so greatly from person to person, I would love it if you could leave a comment on the video telling me how you have handled this. Did you speak with HR? Were your colleagues receptive? Did you feel well accommodated and comfortable? Did you hit any unforeseen roadblocks?
