Planning My Food Allergy-Friendly Wedding
And I have so much to say about it. It all happened within the short span of a five-month-long engagement. The bachelorette party, planned by the one and only Joella. The shower, planned by my mom and mother in-law. The engagement dinner, menu tasting, dress fitting and lunch, day-before spa treatment planned by my sister in-law, early breakfast before the wedding, the wedding itself, the day-after brunch, and finally the honeymoon. And yes Brandon and I did hibernate for a full two days after all this because we were completely exhausted.
This has been an eye opening experience. In managing my allergies, communicating them with others, conquering fears, and the importance of amazing friends and family. Over the next few weeks I'll be chronicling my experiences and sharing them with you. All the details down to choosing a venue that will accommodate your dietary restrictions, what to plan ahead and be prepared for, where to honeymoon, and how to show thanks to your partner for being a strong support system.
